What is your shopping basket?
The shopping basket is a semi-temporary record of
the items you have chosen to purchase. This information will be retained until you either manually
remove / clear the shopping basket or place the confirmed order. It is the
policy of the VistaDVD that Cookies do not carry any of your personal
information (name, postal address, email address, credit card, etc.), all
personal data is transmitted directly to VistaDVD.
How do you add items to your shopping basket?
You must click the 'Add to shopping basket' link where ever it appears on the
VistaDVD web site. This will normally be on the DVD details page, which is
displayed when a DVD has been selected from one of the search
pages or from one of the home pages.
At the moment when an item is added to the basket it will only add '1' of each.
If you require more than one copy of any DVD please just add the item to the
shopping basket again.
When I add an item to my basket, it does not show in the shopping basket, why ?
I select the 'Checkout' option, but i keep returning
to the shopping basket, why ?
The most likely cause is that your browser is set to not accept cookies. Cookies are used by VistaDVD
to hold you shopping basket details, and if your browser security is to deny acceptance of cookies, the shopping
basket will not function. You can check your security settings in IE using the 'Internet Options' sub-menu option
within the 'Tools' main menu option.
For Example, if using Internet Explorer, Select 'Tools' from the menu, then 'Internet Options' from the drop down menu displayed.
Click on the 'Privacy' tab from the dialog box displayed, and check the security level for the Internet
zone. There are many options to which this can be set, the higher the level, the more chance that
cookies will not be allowed. Try changing the level to a lower level then add the item to you basket again.
Please be aware changing this setting may affect other functionality of your browser !
How do you remove items from your shopping basket ?
Navigate to the shopping basket page and then click
on the 'Remove' link alongside the item you wish to remove. You can clear down
the whole shopping basket and start again by using the 'Clear shopping basket'
link on the same page.
What are the 'vouchers' referred to on the shopping basket
page ?
VistaDVD, from time to time, issues special offer vouchers either directly from the web
site, by email to registered customers or by advertising in national magazines.
These vouchers give reference numbers that can be used on the shopping
basket page to receive either a percentage discount or a fixed price deal.
Simply enter the voucher reference number in the field provided and the shopping
basket will be re-calculated including the appropriate discount.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers can be brought from the VistaDVD site, these take the form of
special voucher references. This voucher reference number can be used once by
the individual named when the gift voucher was purchased. They can be brought in
any value from the gift voucher page. The gift voucher can then be sent, either
by yourself or by VistaDVD.
Placing the final order
When you have added all of the DVD's you require into the shopping basket,
simply click on 'Checkout', either from the top navigation bar, or from
the link that appears on the shopping basket page. This will take you to the
customer details page where you can enter the delivery and payments details.
For
your protection, credit card processing is accomplished using secure processing
services. Your entry of
credit card information is encrypted when transmitted in secure mode.
If you are behind a firewall, the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) feature of your
browser and the processing of the credit card may be blocked.
All orders are checked before shipment. If any errors/omissions are identified, with any
information including, but not limited to, price, description and age classification, VistaDVD
reserves the right to cancel and/or change the order, in any way, to correct the error/omission. Any change
will be notified to the customer for their agreement prior to shipping.
No order is deemed to have been accepted by VistaDVD until it has been checked. If for any reason the order
is not accepted by VistaDVD you will be notified by Email, and a full refund will be issued against the original payment method.
If for any reason, you still feel uncomfortable submitting
your credit card over the Internet, you can mail your form to us.
Any order can be cancelled by the customer up to the point of shipment.

Shipment date
The shipment date displayed is an indication of the estimated date of shipment from VistaDVD. Due to reasons
outside the control of VistaDVD these may change, however any significant delay will be relayed to the customer.
For pre-order items the shipment date displayed is the release date as notified by the appropriate studio.
For market and production reasons, studios often delay / change the date of release. This is again outside
the control of VistaDVD but customers will be notified of any significant delays.
Order tracking facility
All registered customers can return to the VisatDVD web site and track the status of any order
they have placed. See the order enquiry page for further information.
